Q: Is experience required to be qualified in any position?
A: Yes. Minimum of two years experience is required in all job categories. There’s no exception to the rule, this is the requirement of the Canadian gov’t .
Q: How long will it takes to process my visa ?
A: Approximately 10 weeks. Delays may occur due to medical examination, interview and other documents you fail to submit.
Q: Will I be paid the same as Canadian workers?
A: Yes. All workers will receive the same rates that have been agreed upon between the union and the employer.
Q: Will I get paid for overtime?
A: Yes. Overtime will be paid on any day that exceeds 8 hours per day. The rate for overtime is 1.5 times the basic pay rate.
Q:What about medical insurance, will I get it?
A: Yes, medical coverage will be arranged by your employer and the cost of this will be deducted from your wages.
